Valerie S. Hildenbrand is a Freelance Graphic Designer with over 14 years experience in design for print. My background includes a BFA from Edinboro University with concentrations in Metalsmithing and Photography and a BS in Graphic Design from LaRoche College. My early traditional drawing and photography work give me the ability to add a more personal touch to electronic art.
My work experience includes 7 years with an in-house design group within an engineering society. During my tenure there, I produced hundreds of book covers, monthly magazine articles and newsletters, and direct mail promotional materials, and one very cool Hot-Rod book. Clean typography and making order of rambling engineer-speak was a top priority!
Recent freelance clients include StonePepper's Grill, Firewater's, Vital Churches Institute, ADVO Systems, Costa's Italian Market, and Above All Salon & Spa. I also partner with other design groups in the North Pittsburgh area, allowing me access to a range of expertise including web applications.
I have also enjoyed teaching Design and Art classes at La Roche College.
